Tutorial to create an elf shoe (little gifts) 2014/12/20

We have thought about creating a gift for these parties, ideal to make with your children and surprise your children’s friends by giving them these cute little gifts.

Materials we will need:

  • 1 sheet of green poster board
  • 1 piece of wrapping paper with Christmas motif
  • 1 meter approximately of gold ribbon
  • 1 bell with a cord
  • 1 cellophane envelope 25 cm long
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher
  • Brooch or thick needle
  • 12 round cookies

How to make it:

Put around 12 cookies inside the cellophane bag, trying to make the base quite flat. Close the bag making a bow with a little bit of ribbon.

Download the model that you can find available and free at the end of the post.

Print and cut.

Fold the green sheet of paper in half.

Copy the elf shoe on top of the folded green sheet, to obtain the two halves of the shoe.

Be careful of not copying the curve of the heel. Then cut like in the photo, with the back part unfolded to strengthen the shoe.

Copy the decoration of the shoe in a piece of wrapping paper, also folded in half. Make the last triangle as it is shown in the photo, in a way of making it stick better to the show. Cut.

Paste the decoration on the shoe.

Remark the place where the hole will go to close the shoe and also the place where the bell will be inserted.

Fold the sheet in half and with the hole puncher make a hole on the mark you made.

Pass the gold ribbon through the hole.

Insert the bag with the cookies under the shoe.

Close the shoe making a bow with the ribbon. Paste the tip of the shoe and make a hole with the needle.

Insert the cord through the little hole made with the needle. Knot.

The gift is ready!

Prepare as many shoes as the number of little children invited to the Christmas party and give one to each of them! And to make your event even more special, choose the Christmas party kit you prefer from our store.
