Roasted Lamb (Lime) - The Recipe 2020/08/04

 

The proposal I present to you today is a delicious meat recipe for a second course, an ideal proposal to have a nice evening with relatives and friends in the garden or the terrace, around the grill. I hope you like it!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 medium size pieces of lamb per person
  • Enough lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices to taste

Put the lamb in a container and cover it with water, squeeze one or many limes and add lime slices, in the meanwhile we start the fire

After letting the lamb stand in lime for 2 hours, we drain the water

We put the pieces on the grill, fire must be high, what you are looking at on the following image is a grill inside a chimney

For a good result, roast the meat once per side, look out for when the meat gets golden to turn it over and seal it on the other side; also, it’s polite to ask our guests how cooked they want their meat (raw, medium, well-done) since there will be different tastes

Once the meat is golden, it is time to add some salt and spices to taste

Serve the lamb hot and accompany with a salad or lettuce or roquette/arugula leaves
