Make a candy or wedding rice holder jute bag 2017/05/05

Today I’ll show you an easy way to make a jute pouch, that you can use on many occasions according to the event or the color

Materials

Jute fabric
Ribbon in blue shades
Silver thread
Small flowers
Thread and needle
Scissors
Ruler

The pouch is made with a 20 cm x 17 cm rectangle, from which 1 cm is for the seams

First we sew along the pouch

Then we fold, leaving this seam centered and sew on the bottom part

This way we get this shape

Now, on the upper part, we make a fold towards the inside of 2 cm plus the 1 cm hem

and we sew

We insert 35 cm of ribbon through this space with the help of an embroidering needle

Aside we form the decorative bow with different sizes of ribbon, silver thread and any small flower

We sew the bow on the upper or bottom part

Instructions for this pouch may work for making party favors of baby births, as candy holders for Baby Showers, in white color as a rice holder for weddings
