Ready with the costume? Halloween is arriving 2014/10/21

Hello girls!!!

Summer has ended, and with the arrival of October this wonderful period of the year also arrives, with the beautiful yellow leaves that fall of trees and delicious chestnuts.

Fall is here and also almost the holiday children love so much: Halloween; Masks, candies, the costumes, who couldn’t not like this fun party?

And talking about costumes, how boring is it to find the same costumes in the store year after year, where is the originality?

You don’t need to be an expert to be able to make these beautiful costumes.

So I present you 10 costume ideas for an unforgettable Halloween:

1. Skeleton

To make a simple skeleton costume, but cute, you just need a black shirt, black leggings, and pieces of white fabric. To create the bones, you have to curl the pieces of fabric with needle and white thread and join it to the black shirt and leggings to create the bones of the legs.

2. Black cat

To make this beautiful costume we will need black and orange cardboard paper. With the black cardboard paper draw many cat silhouettes, the face and also the body if you want to. In a rectangle of black cardboard, join orange squares with white glue to give the shape of orange squares, with a strip of black cardboard form a headband and join the cat’s figure. And here it is ready.

3. Pumpkin

For the pumpkin costume, you need orange tissue paper and a small black cardboard for the face of the pumpkin. Just create a round shape with tissue paper and leave space for the arm and always with tissue paper you can make a small hat. Cute and easy to make.

4. Spider

The spider costume is probably the easiest to make, a black dress is needed, it can also be a shirt and black leggings, just form a spider web with wool thread and set it on the dress with pins, you can also use black cardboard to make a larger spider web.

5. Jellyfish

To make this cute jellyfish, we need an umbrella, preferably transparent or white, just join some tissue paper strips and even ribbons: the more strips the better.

6. Mummy

For the mummy costume you need white makeup and also bandages to cover the mummy! Just bandage the whole body and also the head, leaving the face exposed for more comfort. If you want an extra touch, you can get some of the bandages dirty so the costume looks more realistic.

7. Ballerina

This cute ballerina isn’t at all scary, but it is a costume girls like so much and, over all, it is very easy to make. You just need a white shirt and pink cardboard or the color you want, form strips of cardboard to cover the girl’s torso and then make cuts to create the dress effect; with another strip, form the headband and you can decorate with rhinestones… the details are the most important part!

8. Little devil

To create the horns and the tail of this rascal little devil, we can use felt or any other red fabric, since the horns are made by 2 small triangles and you add a little filling and a headband. A long strip is made for the till which we will be filling, we can join it with a dress or even leggings.

9. Pineapple

For the littlest ones this cute pineapple costume, you just need a yellow children’s body suit, a piece of green felt or green cardboard and white fabric. We make strips and squares with the white fabric we can stick to the body and with a longer strip we form the headband, with the green felt we cut triangles of different sizes and then form the headband. And it is ready.

10. Olaf

And as we said in the beginning of this post: summer has ended, and who loves the summer more??? Olaf!!! And to make a funny costume of the Frozen character, you need a tutu or a white dress and with cardboard we make the eyes, orange nose, mouth and his buttons, and here is Olaf, ready to celebrate Halloween.

With these cute costumes, the little ones invited to your Halloween party will be this funny! Make your Halloween party perfect with the Cute Halloween Party kit… because it doesn’t have to be terrifying!
