How to make crochet scarf holder Macaroons 03/20/2018

Bonjour à tous! Today I will show you how to make tissue holders in the shape of macaroons, the traditional French cookie.

If you are planning on having a Parisian style party, take hook and thread and start preparing it!

Materials

  • Pink thread
  • Beige thread
  • Knitting hook
  • Scissors
  • Tissues

Abbreviations:

sc = single crochet

We begin with a magic circle

Round 1: [6 sc]

Round 2: 2 increases every previous sc [12 sc]

Round 3: 1 sc and 1 increase in the next sc [18 sc]

Round 4: 2 sc and 1 increase in the next sc [24 sc]

Round 5: 3 sc and 1 increase in the next sc [30 sc]

Round 6: 4 sc and 1 increase in the next sc [36 sc]

Round 7: 5 sc and 1 increase in the next sc [42 sc]

Round 8: no increase [42 sc]

Round 9: [42 sc]

Round 10: [42 sc] change of color to beige

Round 11: [42 sc] in beige color

Round 12: [42 sc] change of color to pink

Round 13: [42 sc] In round 13, because of the opening of the bag, we are going to knit 14 chains to continue knitting with single crochet

Round 14: [42 sc]

[From now on you could start another macaroon from round 1 to 6 and sew that part to this one that is already made, or continue making decreases, as I have, to avoid showing the bonding lines]

----------- Continue normally-----------------------

Round 15: 5 sc and 1 decrease in the next sc [36 sc]

Round 16: 4 sc and 1 decrease in the next sc [30 sc]

Round 17: 3 sc and 1 decrease in the next sc [24 sc]

Round 18: 2 sc and 1 decrease in the next sc [18 sc]

Round 19: 1 sc and 1 decrease in the next sc [12 sc]

Round 20: [6 sc] close

We paste a button in the middle of the opening and we knit the necessary amount of chains to form the buttonhole, both sewed with an embroider needle

We place the tissues and close the bag, this way we can take them in a fun and hygienic way

And here our macaroon, precisely in Paris!

Embellish your party with the Oh La La Paris! Party kit that includes a popcorn box, pennants, customized labels and much more!

We also have Oh La La Paris! Invitations.

Pleasure to make your party special.
