How to make a signature bouquet for the groom and the witnesses 2018/04/03

There are details that we can’t leave out in a wedding, even if the budget is small.

For this reason, I will show you how to make an elegant and delicate detail: the bouquet for the groom and witnesses under the market price, also known as boutonniere

Materials

• Roses of the appropriate color for the event.
• Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum), there is a great variety of soft colors.
• Asparagine (Asparagus staceus in italian) for the foliage.
• Floral green paper tape.
• Scissors
• Important: Pins to set the boutonniere to the jackets.

The flowers must be bought with anticipation, but not more than 3 or 4 days before and keep them in water and in a fresh place.

If the weather is hot, we can place some ice cubes in the water or alternatively, keep them in a room with air conditioner.

If you are the bride you can make this details the day before or hire a relative to make them the same day.

Prepare racemes with roses, lisianthus and leaves in similar quantities.
Group a rose, 2 or 3 lisianthius ajar and little foliage. This last one must be maintained as the background. Try it to obtain a good composition.

Set all the stems with floral paper tape, twisting them several times so the bouquet is tight. You can use a pin to fix it at the end and cover it again with tape

Place the covers in the fridge the night before the event preferably in a cup with some water. Remember to place a cup of baking soda to avoid contamination with the smell of food.

The ideal thing would be to make them in the lapel eyelid the same day.
