Discover how to pamper Santa Claus on Christmas Eve 2003/12/05

It’s fun to create a kind of Christmas ritual with the children to await the arrival of Santa Claus and see the emotion in their eyes while they wait to get the much desired gifts.

An American tradition now common in many places of the world is to prepare a snack for Santa Claus and his reindeers on Christmas Eve.

No one knows how Santa Claus manages to hand out gifts around the world in one night, but it sure must be exhausting and that’s why children prepare milk and cookies to give him strength and energy and they also leave some carrots for the reindeers.

To create this Christmas ritual with your family you will need the right place mat, that’s why Tempo di Festa® has decided to make a special gift for every child and their families: the individual placemat for Santa Claus to download and print for free.

Select the individual place mat in our ‘gifts' section, download it and print it.

Now it’s the children’s turn: on Christmas Eve, just before going to bed and if possible in your pijamas, prepare a plate with some cookies, remembering that Santa Claus likes all cookies so if you don’t want to get it wrong pick your favorites.!

It’s time to add a glass of food milk…

…and don’t forget some carrots for the reindeers, they also like apples, lettuce and hay.

At this point, you can put the place mat and the food on a table or on furniture close to the tree and, run to sleep!

Imagine the feelings and emotions with which the children will go to sleep with knowing what they will find under the tree the next morning! Creating a tradition to continue with their children will bring them a special moment to live with family and pass it on and remember it for years to come.
