Elaborate a Key or Coin Holder in Crochet 05/02/2018

Social Media is trendy also in parties!!!

And today I’ll show you how to fit it into your birthday party with this key chain- emergency coin holder

Materials 

• Cotton or nylon thread in pink, beige and black colors 
• Knitting needle according to the selected thread
• Embroidering needle
• Ruler 
• Scissors

sc. Single stitch 

inc. Increase 

sl st. slip stitch 

X6 Number of repetitions 

To make the key chain you’ll need 3 pieces: Body, Lens and viewfinder

BODY

We make a 3 cm chain stitch (each square of the notebook is equivalent to half a centimeter), now we give a length chain stitch and continue with single stitch through each chain from the base, when reaching the last chain we give two single stitches right there and start the return until the starting stitch, we close with a slip stitch

Following rounds

Continue with the necessary rounds until reaching 2.5 cm in height 

We change the color of the thread to beige and make a full round with single stitch. In the following round we will leave and opening wide enough for a 2€ coin to fit, this is accomplished by knitting chain stitches in the air and continuing to knit the single stitch until completing the round. Example, if you’ve knitted 7 chain stitches in the air, leave 7 single stitch free 

In the following round, the number of chain stitches that we knitted in the air will be the same number of single stitches that we must knit on top of the chain stitch, we finish the beige part but we don’t cut the thread

We knit the necessary number of chains to form a handle and close with slip stitch, we finish off the work on the inside of the bag

LENS

1. We make 6 sc. on inc. [6]

2. 1 inc. on each sc. [12]

3. 1 sc., 1 inc. X6 [18]

4. Change the color to beige 2 sc., 1 inc X 6 [24]

5. We close the work with a slip stitch 

6. With needle and beige thread we embroider the light reflection of the lens 

VIEW FINDER 

We from a small square with a base chain stitch line and at least 2 rounds of single stitch, adequate the dimensions with the body of the camera 

With the thread and the embroidering needle, sew each piece to its respective position

Insert the coin and sew the upper part, this way it won’t come out, in case of needing the coin, the back opening remains
