Create a bolero sweater in Crochet for Girls 2015/12/11

Make this delicate bolero sweater to complement light dresses for girls

Materials

• Thread or yarn
• Adequate needle/hook for the selected thread
• Diagram

If you want a formal and elegant bolero sweater, choose a thin cotton thread; if you want it to be warm select wool or yarn. Follow the instructions the package indicates for the use of the hook.

For the bolero sweater I am presenting, I have used the following diagram, making two squares, the necessary for girls between 2 and 7 years old.

Start with a magic ring and begin the first round

Now the square is done, with the thread I have selected I have obtained a square of 20 cm x 20 cm approximately.

How to join the squares: one square must be completely finished according to the diagram; when you are about to start the final round for the next square, I start to join both arches

For this square it is 14 stitches to join

How to make the sleeves: having both squares joined, I start by taking the two corners on one side and start working the fillet for the sleeve, then I continue along the sweater until I reach the other corners, I join them in one stitch and repeat the process of the first sleeve, finishing this step I go back again along the sweater until closing where we started

Until now we have gotten this first result, now it is necessary to now if it will be indispensable to close the sleeve (look at the armpits) and how many centimeters

After closing the sleeve on the inside, approximately 8 cm, you will notice it is tighter

In the future this stitching can me easily removed so the sweater is still useful.
