Create an orchid flower arrangement 2017/04/11

There are no flowers more beautiful than orchids that at the same time are fragile and delicate and require special care and attention.

Today I’ll share with you some decorations for your parties

Materials

• 1 or 3 orchids, always in odd numbers
• Log bases
• Crass plants as foliage
• Flower vials
• Wire to set
• Threaded screw

In flower shops you can find flower vials, they are very necessary for the flower conservation and that they won’t be mounted on top of an oasis.

Now, if we have any orchid, we can take between one to three flowers to make the following arrangements and decorate any focal point of our house for an event

As bases I’ve selected some logs gotten from the sea, but there are many ideas like using dry vineyard bushes, cages, ceramic bases, bird houses, etc... and I’ve selected crass plants as foliage because they last with time (with or without water)

For the first figure, we will set the one orchid in the center and we will surround it with crass plants; with wire we set the flower vial to the base and hide between the foliage

As a second figure, we can put the orchid on one side and the foliage on the other, this way we equilibrate the figure

This figure is ideal to turn into a centerpiece, we need big orchids, which we will set to the base with the wire to secure them, this procedure is not complicated

It’s enough to wrap the vial with the wire and with small screws set the log; first set the vial and then insert the flowers, we don’t want to damage the flowers with this process
