How to make a crochet basket 2015/04/07

Today’s proposal is the making of a small crochet basket that can be used in events and parties as a place marker, candy holder or party favor.

Materials

Rustic cord
Hook
Scissors

Symbology and used stitches

We start the work

1º round: magic circle and 8 half double crochets.

2º - 3º round: 16 half double crochet

4º -6º round: 32 half double crochet.

7º - 13º round: 32 half double crochet stitches.

14º round: we knit 6 half double crochet, 4 chain stitches in, 12 half double crochets, 4 chain stitches in the air and 6 half double crochets.

15º round: 32 half double crochets. (on top of the 4 chain stitches in the air form the 14º round mount 4 half double crochet).

The result is a small basket, which we can use as a place marker or party favor at an event like a Baby Shower.

An idea for a Bachelorette

You can add some natural flowers for birthday parties.
