How to Make Paper Flowers for Halloween 2016/10/16

Hello everyone, today we will see how to make paper flowers for Halloween.

They are perfect to complement the Mexican Catrina costume in a practical and economic way (For those who do not know what is the Catrina you can click Here)

Materials

• 3 China paper sheets in the colors you like the most
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 glue for paper
• 1 meter or anything to measure with
• 1 pencil
• Wire
• Hairpins

As the first step, we extend the paper on top of a work surface and fold it forming an accordion until getting the thickness we want, then, we cut.

Then we measure the height of which we want the petals to be, in this case we made it of 10 cm and cut the shapes in a circular or pointy way, as you prefer.

Now fold in half and we tie with a thread. This step is to set the piece of paper.

We continue with a delicate and important step: we cut some lateral plies we made before with the idea of opening the petals and forming our flower, as seen in the photo.

To hold the flower to your hair, we set them on the hairpins using the thread from the back of the flower. As you can see it is very easy to do.
