How to dry flowers to keep them for a long time 2016/10/11

Whether it is to create a bouquet or to keep them, I will show you a way of drying the roses and what you can do with them

Materials

Fresh roses
Hairspray

Collect rose buds in different colors

I recommend the small roses as the next type of variety

Remove the petals that look damaged and make sure the roses are humidity free.

Whilst they are still fresh, hang them by the stem and put them in a dry place and with no light; this will avoid that the development process of the flower continues and that it opens up.

After 2 to 3 weeks you will be able to see that they are dry and we can use them.

If you want to keep them for a longer time, you can use hairspray, spraying it evenly.

Rustic paper and thread combine with them in a beautiful way.

One of the most beautiful uses for these types of roses, are decorative arrangements on the invitations
