HOW TO CREATE A NATURAL FLOWER TOPIARY 2015/07/07

Today’s proposal is the making of topiary in natural flowers.

It is a beautiful arrangement for a special occasion, appropriate for lady and girl events, bachelorette parties or baby showers.

Materials

• 12 cm in diameter sphere oasis
• Group of light yellow flowers
• Group of yellow flowers
• Small birds, butterflies or bees
• 26 cm long stick
• Ribbon
• Teapot as a base

We start by wrapping the stick with the ribbon; the ideal for the mounting of the natural flower is the use of the sphere oasis, although for showing purposes in this tutorial I have used a dry ice sphere, which will obviously reduce the lifespan of the flowers, I only recommend this sphere for artificial flower topiaries.

I recommend you arrange the flowers of the base first before mounting them on the topiary; insert the oasis in the teapot and mount the flowers

Add the birds, butterflies or bees, these will give movement to the arrangement

Locate the upper center flower, then mount a horizontal line of flowers in the center of the sphere

Now add two horizontal lines of flowers on top and bellow the centerline, mounting them in an interlaced way

Fill the rest of the spaces with yellow flowers, if other spaces remain use a smaller flower, in this case I have used white daisy

The yellow flower and bees topiary would go perfectly with the Bee Buz customized party
