How to make pompons and bows with wool 2019/11/15

I bought this hat, but it looked to me too simple and basic

So I thought about decorating it with a pompon and some bows made with wool

Materials:

• Wool and hat in the color you wish
• A big piece of cardboard
• A roll of tape and a cup to draw different sized circles
• A pencil
• Scissors

Draw in the cardboard 2 big circles with the cup and in the center a smaller one with the tape roll, as I show in the image. Also, I opened the circle with another cut

I started wrapping the cardboards with the wool passing it through the cut and keeping the tension as firm as possible

I inserted the scissors between the two cardboards, separating it little by little, to cut the wool before removing the cardboard, I tied the wool with a thread by the middle. Remove the cardboards and adjust the the pompon to make it more uniform

I show you 2 techniques to make the bows: the first one is wrapping the wool around the teeth of a fork and tying the center part before removing it

The second technique is helping yourself with your daughter’s fingers, joining her pointer and middle finger and wrapping them with the wool, pass a thread through the middle and tie
