Baked ribs with potatoes recipe 04/16/2018

Make a second plate in a simple way to offer a dinner for adults.

Here is the recipe for baked ribs with potatoes.

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1 kg of beef ribs (1 rib per person 250 grams)
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 100 ml of white wine
  • Olive oil
  • Plenty of parsley
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • Diverse spices for meat
  • Salt

We begin by preheating the oven at 200°C

Wash, peel and cut the potatoes in thick slices. Keep the potatoes in cold water to avoid them from darkening and to eliminate the starch.

In a deep plate (bowl or mortar) place the garlic and finely crush, add the spices for the meat and the chopped parsley and mix well, add chili to your liking.

To this mixture add white wine (no more than 100 ml) and mix.

On an oven dish pour some oil and place the potatoes.

Then, add the chops and the mixture we prepared before, covering the meat well on both sides, season again with meat spices and olive oil.

Bake at 200°C for approximately 30-40 minutes, waiting for the meat to be cooked on one side; the time depends on the oven even if the same temperature is established. I suggest you choose a baking dish big enough for the potatoes to be extended evenly so they cook in less time and become crunchy thanks to the liquid evaporation.

When the meat is brown, we turn it and wait for another 30 to 35 minutes. In this second face, we have to be more careful because the meat can cook ahead of time, you also have to see that the liquids have evaporated. The meat must only be turned over once.

Once the meat is golden in both sides and the potatoes are golden, let’s serve.

Enjoy this dish accompanied by a mixed lettuce salad.
